This enhanced Gen III Ultratech features a 3.35-inch partially serrated drop point blade crafted from premium Böhler M390MK steel and finished with a special one-of-a-kind Apocalyptic treatment. The distinctive finish gives the blade a rugged, battle-worn appearance, while the versatile drop point profile provides a practical cutting shape suited to a wide range of everyday tasks. Microtech developed its proprietary M390MK in collaboration with Böhler engineers to improve the edge retention and corrosion resistance of the already-popular M390 steel.
The out-the-front automatic deploys and locks with a thumb slide for rapid, dependable operation. Gen III upgrades further refine the platform, including Krud Kutter grooves on the thumb slide to help keep pocket lint from interfering with deployment. A ceramic thumb ball on the pocket clip helps reduce pocket wear, while upgraded Torx hardware adds durability. The Dual Fuel Drive system provides lightning-fast blade deployment.
The natural clear aluminum handles retain the metal’s native appearance while featuring a protective, colorless anodic coating designed to improve corrosion resistance and durability. An ambidextrous stainless steel pocket clip provides versatile carry, and the integrated glass breaker adds practical utility.
