The Microtech SOCOM Elite OTS Auto T/E Apocalyptic Standard OD Green brings the legendary SOCOM platform into a hard-use automatic folder built for demanding cutting tasks. Since its introduction in 1996, the SOCOM has earned a reputation as a dependable tactical and utility knife, and this automatic version continues that tradition with a powerful design, purposeful ergonomics, and American craftsmanship.
At the heart of the SOCOM Elite Auto is a 4.05-inch tanto-edge blade with an Apocalyptic finish. The tanto profile delivers a strong, angular point and a reinforced tip that's well-suited for controlled utility cutting and everyday tasks where strength matters. The Apocalyptic finish gives the blade a worn, battle-ready appearance while helping conceal the marks that naturally come with hard use. With a push of the automatic button, the blade deploys quickly and decisively, putting a capable cutting tool into action when you need it.
The SOCOM's handle is designed around the shape of the hand, providing a secure, comfortable grip that feels natural during extended use. This OD green configuration pairs its tactical color with a black traction inlay, adding contrast while enhancing grip security. The textured inlay helps keep the knife planted in your hand, giving you greater control when working through tougher cutting chores. The handle's substantial construction complements the knife's full-size dimensions without sacrificing the ergonomic character that has helped make the SOCOM such a recognizable platform.
Measuring 9.11 inches overall and weighing 5.60 ounces, the SOCOM Elite Auto offers a substantial presence without becoming unnecessarily cumbersome. It's large enough to inspire confidence during demanding jobs while remaining practical for carry and everyday utility. As an automatic folder, it combines the familiar SOCOM Elite design with fast, one-handed blade deployment for convenient access when seconds count.
Proudly made in the USA, the Microtech SOCOM Elite OTS Auto T/E Apocalyptic Standard OD Green carries forward a design that's been refined for decades. From its distinctive tanto blade and Apocalyptic finish to its OD green handle and black traction inlay, every element serves a purpose. Whether you're adding it to a serious knife collection or looking for a dependable automatic folder with proven heritage, the SOCOM Elite Auto delivers the performance and character you'd expect from Microtech.
