This configuration features a 3.55" dual serrated dagger blade crafted from Microtech’s proprietary Böhler M390MK premium stainless steel, finished in a rugged stonewash. The stonewash finish helps conceal wear from heavy use while delivering a functional, work-ready appearance built for real-world conditions. The dagger profile provides aggressive symmetry for piercing performance, while the dual serrated edges maximize cutting efficiency through rope, webbing, and tough fibrous materials from either side of the blade. M390MK is developed in collaboration with Böhler engineers to refine the already elite M390 steel, delivering improved edge retention, excellent corrosion resistance, and long-term toughness.
The Gen IV Ultratech incorporates Microtech’s Dual-Fuel Drive Train, engineered to deliver smoother, more consistent blade deployment and retraction through the thumb slide. It enhances the classic dual-action OTF system with improved control and reliability under repeated use, while the integrated Crud Kutter system helps clear debris from the internal mechanism to maintain dependable function in harsh environments. The upgraded glass breaker adds practical emergency capability without adding unnecessary bulk.
