This configuration features a 3.55" fully serrated tanto blade crafted from Microtech’s proprietary Böhler M390MK premium stainless steel and finished in a deep black coating. The dark finish delivers a stealthy, low-reflective tactical appearance while adding an extra layer of surface durability for hard-use environments. The tanto profile reinforces the tip for strong piercing capability and controlled pressure tasks, while the full serration maximizes cutting performance through rope, webbing, and tough fibrous materials with aggressive, consistent bite. M390MK is developed in collaboration with Böhler engineers to refine the already elite M390 steel, delivering improved edge retention, excellent corrosion resistance, and long-term toughness.
