Built on Microtech’s legacy of precision engineering and field-proven reliability, the Ultratech remains the brand’s signature OTF platform, and the Gen IV refinement enhances it with improved internal mechanics, smoother actuation, and increased durability for demanding everyday and tactical use.

This configuration features a 3.55" fully serrated tanto blade crafted from Microtech’s proprietary Böhler M390MK premium stainless steel and finished in a rugged stonewash. The stonewash finish helps conceal wear from heavy use while delivering a tough, utilitarian appearance suited for real-world environments. The tanto profile reinforces the tip for piercing and controlled pressure tasks, while the full serration maximizes cutting performance through rope, webbing, and other abrasive materials, delivering aggressive bite from heel to tip. M390MK is developed in collaboration with Böhler engineers to refine the already elite M390 steel, improving edge retention, corrosion resistance, and long-term toughness under hard use.

The Gen IV Ultratech incorporates Microtech’s Dual-Fuel Drive Train, engineered to deliver smoother, more consistent blade deployment and retraction through the thumb slide.
