The Miller Bros M-34 Short Sword brings the substantial presence of a sword to a compact, hard-use design built for those who appreciate serious blades. Measuring 18" overall with an 11-1/2" blade, this rugged fixed blade offers plenty of reach while remaining considerably more manageable than a full-size sword. At 24 oz., the M-34 has the solid feel and substantial construction you'd expect from a serious piece of American-made equipment.
The 11-1/2" blade is made from Z-Wear PM Steel and features a stout .28" thickness. At its widest point, the blade measures 1-9/16", giving it a substantial profile that complements the M-34's sword-inspired design. A distinctive brush stroke etch adds visual character to the blade, creating an aggressive, handcrafted appearance that makes this particular configuration stand out. The etched finish gives the M-34 plenty of personality while maintaining its rugged, purpose-driven aesthetic.
The OD green handle is wrapped in Digi Camo paracord, creating a combination that's right at home in an outdoor environment. The OD green base provides a subdued field-inspired look, while the Digi Camo paracord adds contrast and texture. Together, they give the M-34 a distinctive appearance that's rugged without being overly flashy.
The included tan and black sheath is built around a custom-molded Kydex shell made from premium .093" thick Kydex. This rigid core provides solid snap-in retention to help keep the M-34 securely in place during carry and storage. Heavy-duty leather overlay panels, commonly referred to as "Sheath Armor," are stitched directly over the Kydex. These panels add structural rigidity while giving the sheath a traditional aesthetic that pairs well with the modern Kydex core.
The sheath also provides multiple carry options. Leather Scout Loops allow for horizontal carry, while a vertical belt loop attachment provides an alternative configuration. This gives you the flexibility to set up the M-34 around your preferred carry style and outdoor gear.
