The M-34’s 11-1/2" blade is crafted from thick .28" Z-Wear PM steel, giving it the strength and durability expected from a hard-use blade of this size. Measuring 1-9/16" at its widest point, the blade has an imposing presence and plenty of usable cutting surface. The Criss Cross Pattern etch adds visual character to the steel, creating a distinctive finish that sets this M-34 apart from more traditional plain-blade designs. At 18" overall and weighing 24 ounces, it has the substantial feel of a serious field blade without reaching the size of a full-length sword.
The tan and black handle gives the M-34 a rugged two-tone appearance, while the black paracord provides a durable wrap and complements the darker portions of the handle and sheath. The M-34 comes with a purpose-built sheath designed to protect the blade while providing secure, dependable carry. Its core is a custom-molded Kydex shell made from premium .093" thick Kydex, giving the blade solid snap-in retention. Heavy-duty leather overlay panels, commonly referred to as “Sheath Armor,” are stitched directly over the Kydex. These leather panels add structural rigidity while giving the sheath a traditional aesthetic that pairs well with the M-34’s rugged construction. Leather Scout Loops allow for horizontal carry, while the vertical belt loop attachment provides another practical carry option.
