The Miller Bros M-34 Short Sword delivers the substantial presence of a sword in a more manageable 18" overall package. Designed for users who appreciate large, rugged blades, this American-made short sword features an 11-1/2" blade with a stout .28" thickness and a maximum width of 1-9/16". At 24 oz., the M-34 has the substantial feel you'd expect from a serious piece of equipment while remaining compact enough for practical carry and storage.
The blade is crafted from Z-Wear PM Steel, giving this M-34 a premium foundation for demanding use. Its thick construction reinforces the hard-use character of the design, while the distinctive splatter etch gives the blade a one-of-a-kind appearance. The patterned finish adds visual interest without taking away from the rugged, purpose-driven nature of this short sword.
This version features a tan handle wrapped with black paracord, creating a classic contrast against the splatter-etched blade. The paracord wrapping adds a traditional outdoor aesthetic while giving the handle a textured, gear-ready appearance. The tan and brown sheath is built around a custom-molded Kydex shell made from premium .093" thick Kydex. This rigid core provides solid snap-in retention to help keep the M-34 securely seated when it's being carried or stored. Heavy-duty leather overlay panels, commonly referred to as "Sheath Armor," are stitched directly over the Kydex. These leather panels add structural rigidity while giving the modern Kydex foundation a traditional, handcrafted appearance.
The sheath also provides flexible carry options. Leather Scout Loops allow for horizontal carry, while the included vertical belt loop attachment provides an alternative setup. This lets you configure the M-34 around your preferred carry style and gear.
