The Miller Bros M-34 Short Sword brings substantial size and rugged American-made craftsmanship together in a compact sword-inspired design. Measuring 18" overall with an impressive 11-1/2" blade, the M-34 gives you serious reach and a commanding presence without the size of a full-length sword. The blade is crafted from Z-Wear PM Steel and features a stout .28" thickness. At its widest point, the 11-1/2" blade measures 1-9/16", giving it a substantial profile that complements the M-34's rugged design. A distinctive striped etch runs across the blade, adding visual interest and a unique character to this configuration. The etched pattern gives the M-34 a bold appearance while maintaining the straightforward, purpose-driven look of a serious fixed blade.
A black handle wrapped in black paracord keeps the grip's appearance clean and understated. The dark color combination pairs naturally with the etched blade and gives the M-34 a cohesive, rugged look from tip to handle. The paracord wrapping also adds texture to the grip and reinforces the outdoor-oriented character of this large fixed blade.
The OD green and black sheath combines modern retention with traditional construction details. Its core is a custom-molded Kydex shell made from premium .093" thick Kydex, providing solid snap-in retention to help keep the M-34 securely seated during carry and storage. Heavy-duty leather overlay panels, commonly referred to as "Sheath Armor," are stitched directly over the Kydex to add structural rigidity while giving the sheath a traditional aesthetic.
The sheath also offers versatile carry options. Leather Scout Loops are included for horizontal carry, while a vertical belt loop attachment provides another configuration. This allows you to adapt the M-34's carry setup to your preferred gear and method of transport.
