At the heart of the M-34 is a thick .28" blade crafted from Z-Wear PM steel, giving this short sword the robust foundation needed for demanding cutting tasks. The 11-1/2" blade measures 1-9/16" at its widest point and features a striking striped etched finish that gives the steel a rugged, distinctive appearance. With an 18" overall length and a weight of 24 ounces, the M-34 has the size and heft of a serious field tool while maintaining a practical short sword format.
The black handle provides a secure, straightforward grip and is wrapped in black paracord for a rugged finish that complements the dark blade. Heavy-duty leather overlay panels, often referred to as “Sheath Armor,” are stitched directly over the Kydex to add structural rigidity while giving the sheath a traditional, handcrafted aesthetic. Leather Scout Loops provide a convenient option for horizontal carry, while a vertical belt loop attachment offers another practical way to carry this substantial blade.
