The Miller Bros. M-34 Short Sword is a substantial American-made fixed blade built for serious performance and rugged outdoor use. The M-34 features an 11-1/2" blade made from .28" thick Z-Wear PM steel, providing a stout foundation for demanding cutting tasks. Measuring 1-9/16" at its widest point, the blade has a substantial profile that gives this short sword an unmistakably rugged character. The Tiger Stripe etch adds a bold visual element to the blade, creating a distinctive pattern across the steel while giving this M-34 a unique appearance. At 24 ounces, it has the weight and presence you’d expect from a serious fixed blade without becoming cumbersome for its size.
A black handle provides a clean, tactical look and gives the M-34 a strong visual contrast against the patterned blade. The straightforward design keeps the focus on the knife’s substantial construction and distinctive steel finish, while the OD green and brown sheath brings classic field colors into the overall package.
The included sheath is built to handle the demands of carrying a blade this substantial. Its foundation is a custom-molded Kydex shell made from premium .093" thick Kydex, providing solid snap-in retention to help keep the M-34 securely in place. Heavy-duty leather overlay panels, often referred to as “Sheath Armor,” are stitched directly over the Kydex. These leather panels add structural rigidity while giving the sheath a traditional aesthetic that pairs naturally with the rugged OD green and brown color combination. Leather Scout Loops allow for horizontal carry, while a vertical belt loop attachment provides an additional carry option.
