At the core is Swedish stainless steel (12C27) sourced from Alleima, hardened to a nominal 56.5 HRC and refined through annealing, cryo, and hardening processes for a balanced blend of toughness and edge stability. The Scandi grind with a profile-ground edge and a 22–24° total grind angle gives it confident bite in wood while staying easy to maintain in the field. A 37–39° edge angle supports controlled, precise cuts, making it a reliable choice for carving, feather sticking, food prep, and other detailed outdoor tasks. The spine is ground and ready for ferro rod use, adding fire-starting capability when conditions demand it.
