The Morakniv Companion Heavy Duty C Fixed Blade Knife in Military Green is built for outdoor enthusiasts who need a dependable tool that can handle demanding wilderness tasks. Made in Mora, Sweden, this rugged fixed blade combines over 130 years of Swedish craftsmanship with practical design and durable materials. Whether you're exploring the backcountry, setting up camp, or tackling bushcraft projects, this knife delivers the strength and control you need to get the job done.
At the heart of the Companion Heavy Duty is a 4.1-inch blade crafted from German C100S carbon steel. Measuring 3.2 mm thick and hardened to 57.5 HRC, the blade provides excellent stability for demanding cutting tasks, carving, processing wood, and preparing materials for shelter construction. Its traditional Scandi grind offers dependable cutting performance and makes sharpening straightforward, even when you're maintaining your gear in the field. The carbon steel construction is easy to resharpen, making this knife a practical choice for extended outdoor adventures. However, carbon steel requires proper care, so be sure to wipe the blade clean and apply a light coat of oil after each use to help prevent corrosion.
The oversized ergonomic handle is molded from TPE rubber and features a soft friction grip that promotes secure, comfortable handling in a variety of weather conditions. Its finger guard adds an extra measure of control during demanding cutting tasks, while the sturdy construction helps you maintain a confident grip when working with wood or other materials. Finished in a Military Green color scheme, the Companion Heavy Duty brings a practical outdoor aesthetic to a hardworking design.
For convenient carry and storage, this knife includes a durable green polypropylene sheath with a practical belt clip. The sheath's ambidextrous design accommodates both right- and left-handed users, keeping the knife accessible while you're moving through the wilderness. With an overall length of 8.8 inches, a blade length of 4.1 inches, and a weight of just 4.77 ounces, it offers a capable balance of strength, portability, and everyday outdoor utility.
Designed and manufactured in Mora, Sweden, the Morakniv Companion Heavy Duty C is a dependable companion for camping, hunting, bushcraft, and general outdoor work. Its thick carbon steel blade, comfortable TPE handle, and convenient sheath make it a solid addition to any outdoor gear collection.
