Built to meet the demands of modern field use, the Ontario Knife Company M9 Combat Knife Black delivers rugged performance in a proven military-inspired design. This fixed blade knife is modeled after the iconic U.S. military M9 bayonet, offering a combination of durability, versatility, and real-world functionality. Made in the USA, it reflects Ontario’s long-standing commitment to producing dependable knives for both service members and civilians.
The knife features a plain 7-inch stainless steel clip point blade, engineered for strength and versatility across a wide range of cutting tasks. Its clip point profile provides excellent penetration and control, while the black finish reduces glare and adds a layer of protection against wear and corrosion. Whether you’re working in the field or tackling demanding outdoor tasks, this blade is built to perform with consistency and confidence.
Constructed with a hidden tang, the M9 Combat Knife maintains a strong and balanced structure without unnecessary bulk. The black Kraton handle is designed for a secure, non-slip grip, even in wet or challenging conditions. Its ergonomic shape fits comfortably in hand, allowing for extended use without fatigue while maintaining precise control during detailed work.
Measuring 12 inches overall and weighing 20 ounces, this fixed knife offers a substantial feel that speaks to its durability and readiness for hard use. It’s built to handle tough environments while remaining functional as both a cutting tool and a general-purpose field knife.
The included GRN sheath enhances the knife’s versatility and carry options. Designed with a durable belt clip attachment, the sheath allows for secure and convenient carry on belts or gear. It also integrates the classic M9 functionality, working in conjunction with the blade to form a wire cutter system when needed, adding another layer of utility to this already capable tool.
This fixed blade knife stands out for its combination of military heritage and practical design, making it a strong addition to any collection or field kit.
