The Petrified Fish Guppy is a compact everyday carry knife that combines a tough, eye-catching design with practical performance. Built for users who want a lightweight folder that doesn't sacrifice capability, the Guppy brings together an N690 stainless steel blade, a secure button lock, and a bold red G-10 handle in a streamlined package that's easy to carry and ready for daily tasks.
At the heart of the Guppy is a 3.27-inch clip point blade made from N690 stainless steel. Known for its solid balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, toughness, and ease of maintenance, N690 is well suited for an everyday carry knife. The clip point profile gives the blade a fine, controllable point while maintaining a useful cutting edge for slicing, opening packages, preparing materials, and handling a variety of routine jobs. A black stonewash finish gives the blade a rugged appearance while helping disguise the light scratches and marks that naturally come with regular use.
Opening the Guppy is straightforward with its thumb stud. The thumb stud provides a dependable manual opening method and gives you positive control as you deploy the blade. Once open, the button lock keeps the blade securely in position during use while allowing for quick and convenient operation when it's time to close the knife. The result is a practical locking system that complements the Guppy's compact EDC design.
The red G-10 handle adds plenty of character while providing a durable, lightweight grip. G-10 is well regarded for its strength, moisture resistance, and textured feel, making it a reliable handle material for everyday carry. The vibrant red color stands out against the black stonewashed blade, giving this Guppy a distinctive look that's both rugged and refined.
At just 2.54 ounces, the Guppy won't weigh down your pocket. Its 4.09-inch closed length keeps it compact enough for comfortable everyday carry, while the 7.05-inch overall length gives you a capable cutting tool when deployed. A tip-up pocket clip provides a convenient way to keep the knife readily accessible and securely positioned in your pocket.
Whether you're opening packages, trimming cord, breaking down cardboard, or handling everyday cutting chores, the Petrified Fish Guppy offers a capable blend of performance, portability, and style. Its N690 clip point blade, button lock mechanism, red G-10 handle, and lightweight construction make it a strong choice for anyone looking for a distinctive everyday carry folder.
