Pro-Tech and Ramon Chavez team up once again with the Scapegoat Compact OTS Auto, a purpose-built everyday carry automatic that distills aggressive design language into a streamlined, high-performance platform. Compact in size but serious in capability, this Scapegoat is engineered for users who want fast deployment, premium materials, and a no-nonsense cutting tool that still carries clean and discreet.
At the center is a 3.15" clip point blade crafted from MagnaMax steel, finished in a deep DLC black coating for maximum corrosion resistance, reduced glare, and enhanced wear durability. The clip point profile gives it a fine, controlled tip for precision work while still maintaining enough belly for slicing tasks. MagnaMax brings a modern high-performance steel composition to the table, offering a strong balance of edge retention and toughness that holds up under repeated use.
Deployment is handled by a responsive out-the-side automatic button system, delivering fast, decisive blade action with minimal effort. The blasted button and hardware keep the interface functional and understated, matching the knife’s work-focused intent. Lockup is secure and confident, designed for consistent engagement in real-world use where reliability matters most.
The handle is machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in a black carbide textured treatment, giving the Scapegoat Compact a rugged, grippy surface that locks into the hand without feeling overly abrasive. At 4" in handle length, it offers a compact footprint that still provides a full, controlled grip, making it ideal for pocket carry without sacrificing usability. The texture adds both visual depth and functional traction, reinforcing its utilitarian design.
Black DLC hardware and a matching deep carry clip complete the build, maintaining a uniform, low-visibility aesthetic. The short deep carry clip ensures the knife rides discreetly in pocket while staying secure during movement. At just 2.85 oz, it disappears in carry until it’s needed, making it an ideal companion for everyday tasks where minimal bulk is key.
With an overall length of 7", the Scapegoat Compact strikes a balance between portability and performance. It’s small enough for effortless EDC carry, yet still substantial enough to handle demanding cutting work when called upon. Every detail reflects Chavez’s design influence—functional, tough, and intentionally stripped of excess.
The Pro-Tech Ramon Chavez Scapegoat Compact OTS Auto is a refined tactical tool built for speed, control, and durability in a compact, carbide-textured package.
