Cheaper than a dozen eggs and twice as tasty!
This is a great slip joint for the money! I own a $300. 00 Jack Wolf with an extremely similar wharncliffe blade shape and handle profile. And yes, it's nicer than the Apta. . . but 15x nicer? You have to look really close before you find and flaws in the fit and finish here. The blue denim micarta feels and looks great and meets the bolsters well (with only the slightest of gaps. ) The walk and talk is a bit light but satisfying with a crisp half stop, but mine does feel just a bit mushy on the close. But I'm okay with that, as you can actually safely close it with one hand. Will I buy an expensive leather slip for it? No. But it is light enough that it sits mostly unnoticeable at the bottom of a pocket. Overall this knife is a killer value and makes for a great daily user or backup for a more expensive primary carry.
