Built for the demands of everyday carry, game processing, and hard-working outdoor use, the Samuel Riner Custom Knives Clinch Fixed Blade is a rugged, purpose-driven design with the handcrafted character you expect from a custom knife. As the second knife to join the Riner Knife Collection and one of the longest-running designs in the lineup, the Clinch has earned its place as a versatile medium-sized fixed blade made to work.
The Clinch features a 3.5-inch plain-edge blade crafted from 80CrV2 carbon steel. Known for its toughness and excellent performance as a working blade steel, 80CrV2 is well suited to the cutting, chopping, and general camp tasks this knife was designed to handle. An acid-washed finish gives the blade a rugged, subdued appearance while adding distinctive character to the knife. The straightforward blade profile keeps the Clinch practical and versatile, making it equally useful for everyday cutting chores and processing game.
The handle is constructed from white Micarta with contrasting black liners, creating a clean, bold appearance that balances the dark acid-washed blade. Micarta is a proven handle material for working knives, offering a durable construction and a comfortable grip that's well suited to extended use. The white handle and black liner combination also gives the Clinch a distinctive custom-knife look without sacrificing its practical purpose.
With a 7.5-inch overall length and a weight of only 4.5 ounces, the Clinch hits a useful middle ground between capability and portability. It's compact enough for everyday carry but substantial enough to tackle demanding outdoor chores. The knife was designed with bushcraft activities in mind and is capable of tasks such as batoning, making it a dependable option around camp or in the backcountry.
A Kydex sheath is included for secure and convenient carry. The Scout Carry setup provides a very positive lock, helping keep the Clinch firmly in place while you're moving, working, or navigating rough terrain. Its medium-sized design makes it easy to carry without the bulk often associated with larger fixed blades.
Handcrafted by Samuel Riner in Clinton, Tennessee, the Clinch represents a decade of knife-making experience and a commitment to building durable, high-quality knives that are made to work hard. Whether you're carrying it every day, processing game, preparing camp, or handling bushcraft chores, the Clinch is ready to earn its place on your belt.
