Shun Premier 2 Piece Carving Set STDMS0200

The Shun Premier 2-Piece Carving Set brings professional performance and elegant style to your kitchen and dining table. Handcrafted in Japan, this set is designed to make every carving task effortless while delivering a visually impressive presentation for meats of all kinds, from weekend barbecues to holiday roasts. Each piece combines Shun’s signature artistry, advanced materials, and thoughtful ergonomics to ensure precision, control, and comfort during every slice.

The set includes a 9.5-inch carving knife and a 6.5-inch carving fork, both designed for performance and balance. The knife features an exceptionally hard VG-MAX “super steel” core, clad on each side with 34 microthin layers of stainless steel. This construction not only provides a razor-sharp, long-lasting edge but also adds resilience and durability for consistent cutting performance. The striking hammered tsuchime finish reduces drag during slicing, allowing meat to release easily from the blade and providing an elegant, handcrafted appearance that evokes the tradition of Japanese knife-making.

The carving fork is engineered for precision handling and stability, making it simple to hold meat steady while carving clean, uniform slices. Both knife and fork handles are crafted from walnut-finish PakkaWood, a material chosen for its durability, water resistance, and beautiful natural coloring. The two-position design allows for a trigger grip when performing pull cuts and the perfect balance for a pinch grip, giving you full control whether you’re cutting thin slices or portioning a roast. Stainless steel end caps embossed with the Shun logo provide structural strength, stabilize the handle, and ensure even weight distribution for a comfortable, balanced feel from tip to end.

Whether you’re carving a succulent roast, poultry, or a large cut of beef, the Shun Premier 2-Piece Carving Set delivers professional results with a refined look. Its combination of super steel cores, layered stainless cladding, hammered finishes, and ergonomic handles ensures a superior experience for slicing and serving while elevating the aesthetic of your kitchen and dining presentation.
