The SOG-Tac OTS Auto brings serious performance and practical carry to a streamlined out-the-side automatic platform. Made in the USA, this rugged folder combines a hard-working Cryo D2 blade with a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum handle, giving you a dependable cutting tool that’s ready for everyday carry, field use, and demanding utility tasks.
Its 3.43-inch drop point blade is made from Cryo D2 steel and features a black Titanium Nitride finish for a tough, low-profile appearance. The drop point profile provides a strong, versatile point with plenty of useful belly for slicing, making it well suited to a wide range of cutting chores. At 0.11in thick, the blade offers a solid balance between strength and efficient cutting performance. The knife opens quickly with the SOG-Tac OTS automatic mechanism.
The handle is crafted from textured anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, providing a lightweight yet durable foundation for the knife. Its textured surface adds grip and control while giving the folder a distinctive tactical appearance. Measuring 4.59 inches long and 0.43 inches thick, the handle keeps the overall profile compact enough for comfortable everyday carry. The blue anodized aluminum adds a sharp pop of color while maintaining the rugged character expected from a purpose-built automatic folder.
A standout feature is the AU-XR double-action automatic mechanism, designed for fast, intuitive deployment and closure. The integrated safety helps prevent unintended activation when the knife is being carried or handled. An ambidextrous pocket clip gives you flexible carry options and keeps the SOG-Tac OTS Auto securely positioned in your pocket.
Weighing just 3.5 ounces, this American-made automatic knife delivers a substantial cutting tool without adding unnecessary weight to your everyday carry. From opening packages and cutting cord to handling outdoor and utility chores, its combination of Cryo D2 steel, textured aluminum construction, automatic operation, and compact dimensions makes it a capable companion.
Whether you’re adding it to your automatic collection or looking for a lightweight folder with a rugged tactical edge, the SOG-Tac OTS Auto brings together practical design, durable materials, and American craftsmanship in one compact package.
