    Big-Bellied Beast

    I am a huge fan of SOG knives in general, and I absolutely love my Terminus. That being said, I also really, really like large knives. So what the Terminus and even the SOG Stout lacked in size I found with the Prohen XR.

    The Prohen XR is what you get when you take the smooth, and reliable action of the SOG Terminus, add a gorgeous 3.5” drop point behemoth blade with both a flipper and an attractive thumb hole opener and strong jimping on the spine.

    The SOG Prohen XR is a beautifully designed modern day tactical knife that packs a punch with a hefty feel and great blade geometry. It is a fantastic cutter, with excellent ergonomics. I give the SOG Prohen XR 5/5 stars.

    Love the XR series of knives

    This is a great knife. I already own a Terminus, Pentagon, and seal pup, but I still haven’t found the perfect fit for my hand. This one is pretty close. I’m not a huge fan of the thumb hole though, but hey you don’t need it with the smooth fast action of the blade. This knife has a nice weight and size to it for everyday use and carry. Can’t wait to see what SOG come out with next, but hopefully a longer version of the Terminus XR.
