Spyderco Persistence Lightweight Folding Knife CPM S35VN PlainEdge Blue SPC136PBL

The Spyderco Persistence Lightweight Folding Knife brings a proven, compact design together with premium American-made CPM S35VN steel and a lightweight, rugged build. Designed for dependable everyday carry, this Persistence delivers the practical features Spyderco fans expect while keeping weight and bulk to a minimum. Bright blue FRN scales give the handle a distinctive look, while Bi-Directional Texturing provides a secure, confident grip in hand.

The 2.75-inch PlainEdge blade is crafted from CPM S35VN stainless steel, a high-performance powder metallurgy steel known for its excellent balance of toughness, wear resistance, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. Its unique chemistry promotes the formation of niobium carbides along with vanadium and chromium carbides, helping enhance toughness without giving up the wear resistance needed for demanding cutting tasks. The full-flat grind provides an efficient cutting geometry and a versatile edge suited for everything from opening packages and cutting cordage to general everyday chores.

At 6.85 inches overall and just 3.3 ounces, the Persistence Lightweight is compact enough for comfortable daily carry without feeling undersized when it's time to put the blade to work. The 4.12-inch closed length slips easily into a pocket, while the sturdy LinerLock secures the blade open and provides straightforward operation. The 3mm blade thickness adds a solid feel while maintaining the nimble handling you'd expect from a lightweight folder.

The bright blue fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle scales aren't just about appearance. FRN keeps the knife lightweight and durable, while Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texturing helps provide reliable traction even when your grip isn't perfect. A four-position, ambidextrous pocket clip lets you configure the knife for tip-up or tip-down carry on either side, giving left- and right-handed users plenty of flexibility.

With its compact profile, premium CPM S35VN blade, grippy blue FRN handle, and adaptable carry options, the Spyderco Persistence Lightweight is built to be a capable everyday companion. It's a rugged, lightweight folder that delivers serious cutting performance without unnecessary weight or bulk.
