The Tenable Goblin L folding knife expands on the compact “biggest little knife” concept with more capability, more presence in hand, and the same carry-friendly footprint. It features a 3.08-inch sheepsfoot blade crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, finished in blackwash for a rugged, worn-in look that also helps conceal scratches and use marks over time. The sheepsfoot profile keeps cutting tasks controlled and deliberate, offering strong utility performance with a safer, straight-edged geometry.
Deployment is intentionally versatile, giving you three distinct opening options: a front flipper tab, a finger flick, and a thumb hole. Each method offers smooth, reliable action depending on how you choose to carry and access the knife. Once open, a sturdy stainless steel linerlock holds the blade firmly in place, delivering solid lockup for confident use.
The Goblin L builds on the original concept by increasing blade presence and cutting capability while keeping overall carry comfort in mind. Its broader blade design enhances leverage and control, making it better suited for tougher cutting tasks without losing its everyday practicality.
The design draws inspiration from the 1984 U.S. Air Force XF-85 “Goblin” experimental fighter, a compact platform built to deliver unexpected capability in a small package. That idea carries through here in a modern folding knife built for real-world utility.
The handles are purple anodized aircraft-grade aluminum with Amphibian-inspired geometric texturing, offering a secure, tactile grip with a bold visual identity. A stainless steel pocket clip rounds out the carry setup. At 4.53 inches closed and 4.55 ounces, it balances pocketability with a solid, confidence-inspiring feel.
Designed by knifemaker Marshall Noble, the Goblin L reflects a focus on functional design, ergonomic control, and distinctive styling built around real use.
