The Tenable Goblin L folding knife takes the compact power concept of the original Goblin and scales it up into a more capable everyday carry platform while keeping a pocket-friendly profile. It features a 3.08-inch layered Damascus steel sheepsfoot blade with a flowing water ripple pattern, delivering both visual depth and practical slicing control. The sheepsfoot geometry adds safety and precision, making it well suited for controlled cuts and demanding utility work.
Opening is designed for flexibility and fast access. A front flipper tab, finger flick action, and thumb hole all provide multiple deployment options depending on preference or situation. Once open, a sturdy stainless steel linerlock keeps the blade secure and stable during use.
The Goblin L concept builds on the idea of the “biggest little knife,” expanding capability without sacrificing carry comfort. Its broader blade profile increases cutting power and control, giving it more presence in hand while still remaining compact enough for daily carry.
Inspired by the 1984 U.S. Air Force XF-85 “Goblin” experimental fighter, the design echoes the idea of a small platform delivering outsized performance, refined here into a modern folding knife built for real-world use.
The handle is crafted from bronze anodized aircraft-grade aluminum with an Amphibian-inspired geometric texture that enhances grip and adds visual character. A stainless steel pocket clip completes the setup with a clean, functional carry solution. At 4.53 inches closed and 4.55 ounces, it balances substance with portability.
Designed by knifemaker Marshall Noble, the Goblin L reflects a focus on purposeful design, strong ergonomics, and a bold yet functional aesthetic.
