The Tenable Link folding knife brings together rugged reliability and clean, modern design in a compact everyday carry package. It features a 3” harpoon-style blade crafted from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel with a tough stonewash finish that helps mask scratches and wear while enhancing its work-ready character. Known for its excellent corrosion resistance, edge stability, and toughness, 14C28N is built for consistent performance in real-world cutting tasks. The harpoon blade profile adds reinforced strength at the tip while maintaining strong slicing geometry, making it versatile enough for daily utility, outdoor use, and precision work.
The Link is designed for fast, flexible deployment with multiple opening methods. A prominent front flipper delivers a smooth, satisfying action for quick one-handed opening. A large thumb hole offers controlled manual deployment, while ambidextrous thumb studs provide another fast and reliable way to bring the blade into action. Once open, a stainless steel linerlock engages securely, keeping the blade firmly in place for confident use.
The handles are made from green Micarta, a durable and time-tested material that offers excellent grip and a natural, textured feel in hand. Micarta performs especially well in varying conditions, providing dependable traction even when wet or heavily used. The deep green tone adds a classic, outdoors-focused look that pairs perfectly with the knife’s utilitarian design. A stainless steel pocket clip allows for secure, ambidextrous carry so the Link is always ready when needed.
At 4.15” closed and weighing 3.59 ounces, the Link maintains a balanced, pocket-friendly profile that carries easily without sacrificing capability. Designed by Canadian knifemaker Johnathan Shaw, it reflects the creativity and forward-thinking approach of one of the youngest designers on the Kansept team.
