At the heart of the STR T is a 2.75-inch CPM M4 steel tanto blade finished in black KG Gunkote. CPM M4 is a high-performance tool steel known for its exceptional toughness, edge retention, and resistance to wear under demanding use. The tanto geometry reinforces the tip for added strength while maintaining two straight, aggressive edges suited for controlled cutting and piercing tasks. An extra high bevel grind enhances slicing efficiency, allowing the blade to move cleanly through material while maintaining structural integrity.

At just 0.156 inches thick, the blade is intentionally slim for improved penetration and precision cutting without sacrificing durability. Heat treated to 60–62 Rockwell hardness, it offers a refined balance between hardness and resilience, ensuring it holds an edge while still being serviceable in the field.

The handle is constructed from FDE G-10, providing a rugged, high-traction surface designed for secure grip in all conditions. Despite its compact 3.65-inch length, the handle is shaped for control and comfort, allowing for confident handling even during extended use. The textured G-10 ensures stability in wet or dry environments, making it reliable when conditions are less than ideal.

Carrying the STR T is simple and discreet thanks to its fold-over KYDEX sheath.
