The Trijicon DI Night Sight Set (GL801-C-601102) solves the biggest flaw in factory Glock sights: light dependency. While standard fiber optics fails in the shadows and painted dots wash out in high-contrast light, the Dual Illumination (DI) system remains constant. By fusing a tritium lamp with a fiber optic pipe, this setup gives you a bright, battery-free aiming point whether you're in high noon or total darkness.
The beauty of this system is its fail-safe design. You get two light sources working in tandem: a green tritium lamp for low-light glow and a fiber optic rod that harvests ambient light for daytime punch. Unlike older designs that require heat-staking, the fiber is secured with a threaded retainer, making it easy to replace or customize in the field. Plus, the rear sight features a steep, hooked leading edge, specifically machined for emergency one-handed slide racking.
Built from solid, machined steel, these sights are designed to handle the violent recoil of duty use. The 0.160" front blade and 0.169" U-notch rear are perfectly gapped for fast target acquisition without sacrificing accuracy. Standing at a 0.215" height, the set fits standard holsters perfectly, giving you a snag-free, professional-grade sight picture that won't fail when the lighting does.
