The handle is comfortable and the knife have no stain, high polished, forged steel blades with an edge that retains its sharpness. The knives have handles of Poly Oxy Methylene (POM) with triple-rivets Each blade is crafted of high carbon no stain steel, and has bolsterless edges. The knives are hot-drop hand forged and ice tempered by master forgers in Solingen, Germany exclusively for Victorinox. After that it's shipped to Victorinox in Ibach, Switzerland for their sharp edge and finishing. The set weighs 112.9 ounces. Made in Germany.
