Designed for users who appreciate durable materials and convenient operation, the Vombat is well suited for everyday cutting tasks, outdoor excursions, and general utility use. Its streamlined profile and thoughtful features make it a capable addition to any everyday carry rotation.
The 2.88-inch reverse tanto blade is crafted from 14C28N Sandvik stainless steel, a popular blade steel valued for its corrosion resistance, toughness, and ability to maintain a reliable working edge. The reverse tanto profile offers a reinforced point and a purposeful cutting shape, making it a practical choice for a variety of routine tasks that call for control and precision. A clean satin finish highlights the blade's lines while giving it a refined appearance that contrasts sharply with the blue handle. This combination of useful geometry and durable stainless steel makes the Vombat a dependable option for daily cutting needs.
The blue G10 handle brings a bold splash of color to the knife while providing a lightweight, durable grip. G10 is known for its strength and resistance to moisture and everyday wear, making it well suited for a folder intended to be carried and used regularly. Its vivid blue finish gives the Vombat a distinctive appearance without compromising its practical design. At 3.88 inches closed, the knife maintains a compact footprint that's easy to carry in a pocket, pack, or gear bag.
A thumb stud allows for convenient manual blade deployment, giving you direct control when opening the knife. The crossbar lock secures the blade open during use and supports smooth, convenient closing when the task is complete. This practical locking mechanism complements the Vombat's straightforward design, offering ease of operation for users who want a reliable folder without unnecessary complications.
For convenient everyday carry, the Vombat includes a pocket clip that keeps the knife readily accessible when needed. Its compact size makes it suitable for a variety of daily settings, while its rugged construction is ready for routine utility tasks and outdoor use. A black nylon zippered storage case is also included, providing a convenient way to store and protect the knife when it's not being carried.
Combining a satin 14C28N reverse tanto blade, blue G10 handle, and practical crossbar lock, the Vosteed Vombat offers capable performance in a compact, modern package.
