The Weatherby Select 6.5 Weatherby RPM 130 Grain Swift Scirocco ammunition is engineered for hunters who demand exceptional accuracy, impressive velocity, and dependable terminal performance in the field. Built around Weatherby's innovative 6.5 Weatherby RPM cartridge, this premium hunting load combines a high-performance magnum design with the proven Swift Scirocco bonded polymer tip bullet to deliver outstanding results on medium and large game. Whether you're hunting open western terrain, dense timber, or rugged mountain country, this ammunition provides the power and precision needed when the opportunity arrives.
Each cartridge features a 130-grain Swift Scirocco bonded polymer tip bullet designed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency and controlled expansion. The sleek polymer tip improves ballistic performance by reducing drag and enhancing downrange stability, while the bonded core construction helps maintain bullet integrity during impact. This advanced design delivers excellent weight retention, deep penetration, and reliable expansion, creating devastating terminal performance while preserving the accuracy needed for longer shots.
The 6.5 Weatherby RPM, or Rebated Precision Magnum, was developed to provide magnum-level performance in a modern, efficient cartridge design. With a muzzle velocity of 3,150 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 2,864 foot-pounds, this load produces a flat trajectory and impressive downrange capability. The high velocity combined with a G1 ballistic coefficient of .571 helps reduce bullet drop and wind drift, giving hunters greater confidence when making precise shots across open landscapes.
Weatherby Select ammunition is assembled using premium components and strict quality control standards to ensure consistent performance from every round. Each cartridge features new-production reloadable brass with a reliable Boxer primer, providing smooth chambering, dependable ignition, and excellent durability for shooters who reload. Carefully selected powders and precise loading methods help maintain uniform velocities and exceptional accuracy, making this ammunition a reliable choice for serious hunters.
Packaged in a convenient 20-round box, Weatherby Select 6.5 Weatherby RPM ammunition is ready for preseason sight-in, range confirmation, and demanding hunting adventures. The combination of Weatherby's innovative cartridge design and Swift's proven Scirocco bullet technology creates a load that excels in both accuracy and terminal performance.
