The Work Sharp Guided Field Sharpener paired with the Knafs Lander 5 Knife is a compact, field-ready sharpening and cutting system built for users who expect their gear to perform anywhere, anytime. Whether you're on the trail, at the campsite, in the shop, or just maintaining your everyday carry at home, this set delivers the tools you need to keep a razor edge and a reliable blade close at hand.
The Work Sharp Guided Field Sharpener has earned its reputation as a go-to staple in the knife community for one simple reason: it works, and it works everywhere. Designed with portability and versatility in mind, it brings multiple sharpening stages into a single, compact unit that’s easy to carry and even easier to use in the field. It features coarse 220 grit diamond plates for restoring dull or damaged edges, along with fine 600 grit diamond plates for refining and finishing your edge to a sharp, usable polish. Built into the design is a ceramic rod that handles both edge honing and serration sharpening, giving you the flexibility to maintain a wide range of blade styles. On top of that, a leather strop integrated into the spine allows you to finish your edge to a clean, polished sharpness that’s ready for real work. It’s a complete sharpening system that doesn’t require a bench, electricity, or extra tools—just your hands and a few minutes of attention.
Paired with the sharpener is the Knafs Lander 5 Pocket Knife, a lightweight and capable everyday cutting tool designed with simplicity and function in mind. It features a 2.13-inch drop point blade crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, a steel known for its solid balance of toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. The stonewashed finish helps mask wear and gives the blade a practical, broken-in look that fits right in with hard use. A thumb hole opening allows for smooth, controlled deployment, making one-handed use simple and intuitive.
The Lander 5’s framelock design provides secure lockup during use, while the stainless steel handle offers durability without unnecessary bulk. A tip-up pocket clip keeps it ready for discreet and comfortable everyday carry. At just 5.38 inches overall and 2.55 ounces, it disappears in the pocket until it’s needed, then delivers reliable cutting performance when called upon.
Together, this set forms a practical field system: a dependable pocket knife and a proven sharpening solution that ensures your edge stays ready no matter where the day takes you.
