The Work Tuff Gear Ninjuko Gen 2 Fixed Knife is a refined evolution of a modern puukko-style bushcraft tool, designed by Joe Flowers and built for real-world versatility. Originally introduced in 2023, the Ninjuko concept was developed to bridge the gap between traditional Nordic utility knives and everyday carry performance. The Gen 2 refines that mission with upgraded materials, improved ergonomics, and thoughtful design adjustments that make it more capable in the field without sacrificing simplicity.

At its core, the Ninjuko Gen 2 remains true to the puukko heritage—a compact, straight-backed utility knife known for control, precision, and efficiency. However, this updated version introduces meaningful enhancements that elevate its performance. The blade steel has been upgraded from N690 to cryogenically treated AEB-L, improving edge stability, toughness, and overall cutting performance. A slightly thicker blade stock enhances structural strength, allowing the knife to handle tougher tasks while maintaining excellent slicing ability.

The 4-inch blade features a Scandi grind with a micro convex edge, delivering outstanding control for carving, woodcraft, and fine detail work. The splatter-finished blade gives the knife a distinctive, rugged aesthetic while helping to conceal wear from regular use. A newly added sharpening choil improves maintenance and edge precision, making it easier to keep the blade performing at its best in the field.

Built on a full tang platform, the Ninjuko Gen 2 incorporates machined weight-reduction pockets to balance strength with carry comfort. This ensures the knife remains durable without feeling unnecessarily heavy during extended use or daily carry. Measuring 8.6 inches overall, it is compact enough for EDC yet capable enough for serious bushcraft tasks.

The natural canvas Micarta handle provides a secure, comfortable grip that performs well in all weather conditions. Slightly enlarged scales improve ergonomics, while a subtle integrated finger guard adds confidence and control during detailed or forceful cutting tasks. The handle is shaped for extended comfort, allowing users to work efficiently without fatigue.

Carried in a camo-pattern Kydex taco-style sheath, the Ninjuko Gen 2 is secure, practical, and ready for rugged use. The sheath system ensures reliable retention while offering convenient everyday carry options suited for outdoor, survival, or utility applications.
