Measuring 16.2 inches overall, the V-44X-III carries a formidable 10-inch Bowie blade with a 9.3-inch cutting edge. The classic clip-point profile gives it the unmistakable presence of a traditional Bowie while providing a versatile design for bushcraft, field work, camp chores, and demanding outdoor applications. Full-tang construction provides a solid foundation from blade to handle, while the substantial 0.216-inch blade thickness reinforces its heavy-duty build.
The SK85 steel blade features a saber grind with a convex edge, providing a robust cutting geometry that balances strength and practical cutting performance. Its Copper Wash finish gives the blade a distinctive, weathered appearance with warm metallic character that sets this version apart. The unique finish works especially well with the earthy tones of the handle and creates a knife that's rugged without looking ordinary.
