The Work Tuff Gear Wolverine Gen 2 Fixed Blade K329 is a rugged, purpose-built field knife designed to bridge the gap between compact fixed blades and full-size choppers. The Gen 2 brings several meaningful refinements to an already capable design. Its handle has been slightly enlarged to provide a fuller, more secure grip, improving control and comfort during extended use. The blade steel has also been upgraded from SK85/A8Max to Böhler K329, a tough tool steel with a 57-59 RC hardness that offers an excellent balance of toughness and edge stability. A false edge has been added as well, improving penetration and making the blade more efficient during thrusting tasks.
The 6.7-inch blade features a robust 0.187-inch thickness and a saber grind with a convex edge. That combination gives the Wolverine the muscle needed for demanding camp chores while maintaining the control necessary for more precise work. The 6.5-inch cutting edge is well suited to carving, feather sticking, processing wood, and general fieldcraft, while the substantial blade geometry provides enough backbone for batoning and light chopping when required.
A pronounced thumb ramp gives your hand a natural point of control, while the 3D machined G-10 handle provides a secure, ergonomic grip. The hand-applied copper washed finish gives the blade a distinctive, rugged appearance, complementing the black textured G-10 scales for a hard-working aesthetic that looks right at home in the outdoors.
The Wolverine Gen 2 also features a sharp 90-degree spine, giving you a reliable striking surface for fire steel and adding another layer of utility to an already versatile tool.
