The Gen 2 Wolverine brings several important refinements to the original design. The handle has been slightly enlarged to create a fuller, more secure grip, improving comfort and control during extended use. The blade steel has also been upgraded from SK85/A8Max to Böhler K329, providing enhanced toughness and edge stability at a 57-59 RC hardness. A false edge has been added to improve penetration and increase efficiency during thrusting tasks, giving this Wolverine even more versatility in the field.
The 6.7-inch drop point blade features a substantial 0.187-inch thickness and a 6.5-inch cutting edge. Its saber grind transitions into a convex edge, delivering a strong cutting geometry that's well suited to a wide range of outdoor tasks. The robust construction gives the Wolverine enough backbone for batoning and light chopping, while the refined edge and ergonomic design allow for more controlled work such as carving, notching, and feather sticking.
A pronounced thumb ramp provides an additional point of control, helping you maintain a secure grip when applying pressure or performing detailed cuts.
