SHOP CASE KNIVESThe 8-inch serrated bread knife from ZWILLING is designed to handle foods that are tough on the outside and soft on the inside, making it the perfect tool for slicing through crusty loaves, ripe tomatoes, and more. Its long, serrated blade glides effortlessly through sourdough crusts and neatly cubed ciabatta, delivering clean, even cuts without tearing or crushing delicate interiors.
Crafted from ZWILLING's proprietary special formula steel, this knife benefits from nearly 300 years of steelmaking expertise. The blade is precision-forged using the SIGMAFORGE process, which ensures it’s made from a single piece of high-carbon stainless steel, giving it exceptional strength and flexibility. Each blade undergoes ZWILLING’s signature ice-hardening process, resulting in a FRIODUR blade that’s incredibly sharp, resistant to chipping, and built to maintain its edge for longer.
The ergonomic polypropylene handle provides a comfortable, secure grip, allowing for better control when slicing through even the most challenging crusts. With a Rockwell Hardness rating of 57, this knife offers excellent edge retention, ensuring it’ll be a reliable tool in your kitchen for years to come. Though dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended to preserve the quality and sharpness of the blade.
Proudly made in Germany, this knife reflects ZWILLING's dedication to quality craftsmanship and innovation in kitchen tools.
