Council Tool 3.5lbs Classic Michigan Pattern Double Bit Axe

The Council Tool 3.5 lbs. Classic Michigan Pattern Double Bit Axe features a forged tool steel head with phantom bevels and follows the Michigan pattern originating from the state of the same name. A natural steel finish on the axe head and cutting edge. The double bits are hand sharpened. The handle is made of American Hickory and is 36" in length. The Axe head is hydraulically seated onto the handle and secured with a serrated aluminum wedge. The interior detail of the eye is tapered to allow for a mechanical bond. It is proudly made in the USA.
