Excellent folder
I really like this knife as an EDC. I've always like Buck knives but I really didn't care for the traditional wooden handled folders that much. This Buck is really well-made and tough. The blade was a little stiff and tough to open and close at first but, the more I use it the easier it gets. The lockup is good and solid . . . even though it may be a little "tricky" to release sometimes. The release on the spine has to definitely be pressed all the way in for it to release the blade lock. But I actually prefer this. I would much rather it be a little difficult to close the blade as opposed to it closing too easily. It is lightweight and fits comfortably in my hand. I normally just carry a SWAK in my pocket but I have to say that I have also started carrying this knife clipped in my right front pocket . . . just in case I have to get to it in a hurry. And, I know I can depend on it to be sharp and to last a long time. :-)
