Council Tool #2 Hudson Bay Velvicut Axe 24" Curved Handle

The Council Tool #2 Hudson Bay Velvicut Axe 24" Curved Handle features an axe that is the ideal shape for camping, hunting, or hiking, small enough to pack, but big enough to be used for most any job you need. It has a 5160 grade alloy steel axe head that the bit has been heat treated and quenched about one inch from the cutting edge, then tempered. The 24" handle is made of American Hickory and hung with a softwood wedge and a round steel wedge. The axe head is coated with a light oil and a Linseed oil is used for coating the handle for protection. Includes a leather sheath with a buckle and belt slit with an embossed logo.
