CASE KNIVES
High quality, extremely collectible handmade knives since the 1800s.
SHOP CASE KNIVESCompact, tough, and purpose-built, the ESEE Candiru is a fixed blade that punches far above its weight. Designed for backup and everyday carry roles, this lightweight knife is forged from 1095 high carbon steel and features a stout 2" drop point blade. The purple epoxy powder coating isn't just for looks—it protects against corrosion and adds a layer of durability when you're working in wet or gritty conditions.
The Candiru’s skeletonized frame reduces weight without sacrificing strength. At just 1.7 ounces, it disappears in a pack or pocket but is always ready when needed. Thumb jimping along the spine gives you added control for detail work, and the minimalist handle design offers plenty of customization potential with paracord wraps or aftermarket scales.
With an overall length of just over 5", this knife is nimble in hand yet rugged enough to handle real tasks—from feathering sticks for a fire to opening feed bags or cutting cordage in the field. The included black molded polymer sheath locks the knife in securely, offering reliable retention whether it’s mounted to a belt, clipped to your gear, or carried as a discreet neck knife.
Built to the same hard-use standards as the rest of the ESEE lineup, the Candiru isn’t a showpiece—it’s a get-it-done blade designed for those who count on their gear. Whether you're out on the trail, prepping your kit, or just need a solid knife that won't weigh you down, the Candiru delivers.
