Using a Stormproof (2.9” long) match, the new design leaves 0.3” to spare for tinder. It's the same as the original Matchcap, but it's larger, has improved striking surfaces, and it's waterproof. It has a safe match striker design with replaceable striking pads. It works with safety and strikes anywhere matches. It has a square threaded cap and is made of lightweight anodized, laser engraved aircraft grade 6061 aluminum construction. It weighs only 2.08 ounces.
