Case Knives brought a strong lineup to Blade Show 2025, highlighting both its expertise in traditional slip joints and its growing interest in modern everyday carry. The brand’s latest releases balance heritage with fresh design, from new handle materials and colors to the debut of bold jig patterns. Whether you’re a collector seeking the next Limited XX Edition or an EDC user drawn to tough, functional upgrades, this year’s lineup has something worth noting. Here’s a closer look at the standout Case knives that made their mark at the show and what to expect later this year.

New Case Knives

Tiny Trapper

The Gator Jig Ocean Blue Bone series is part of Case’s 2025 XX Limited Edition Series XXXVIII. Each knife in the line features bone handles with a newly introduced “Gator Jig” pattern, deep, irregular cuts that resemble alligator hide, and a bold ocean blue dye that transitions from dark navy to vibrant turquoise. An oval “CASE XX USA” shield is embedded on the front scale, while the master blade bears the “Limited XX Edition Series XXXVIII” etch. Nickel silver bolsters and brass pins complete the build, giving these knives a premium look that’s firmly rooted in Case tradition with a fresh new twist.

This limited-edition series includes several fan-favorite patterns: Baby Doc, Muskrat, Tiny Trapper, Seahorse Whittler, Baby Butterbean, Barlow, and Trapper. All feature Tru-Sharp surgical steel blades, known for edge retention and polish, with the master blade engraved to mark the series. Each model is made in the USA and released in limited quantities, making them ideal for collectors.

Olive Green Sawcut

Olive Green Sawcut (Large Stockman)

The new Olive Green Sawcut series from Case blends time-tested tradition with subtle modern updates. Each knife features bone handles jigged in a classic sawcut pattern and dyed a muted olive green, offering a rugged yet refined appearance. The new bowtie shield, stamped with the Case XX logo, sits flush against the handle and adds a clean, recognizable accent without overwhelming the design. Nickel silver bolsters provide a smooth finish on both ends, while brass pins and liners ensure lasting durability. The combination of sawcut texture and subdued green tones gives these knives a work-worn look that stands out quietly but confidently.

This series includes some of Case’s most recognized patterns: Mini Copperlock, Medium Texas Toothpick, Folding Hunter, Sod Buster Jr., Large Stockman, Trapper, and Tiny Trapper. Each knife is equipped with mirror-polished Tru-Sharp surgical steel blades for excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. Whether you’re drawn to the one-blade profile of the Toothpick or the multi-blade versatility of the Stockman, there’s a pattern to suit nearly any use or collection.

Pacific Tides Kirinite

Pacific Tides Kirinite (Sowbelly)

The Pacific Tides Kirinite series features eye-catching handles made from durable Kirinite swirled with deep ocean blue, white, and smoke-like black. The smooth, polished surface adds a modern look, while the colors mimic shifting waves and coastal waters. Each knife is fitted with a block-style bowtie shield engraved with the Case logo, set flush into the scale. Nickel silver bolsters and brass pins round out the build. Kirinite is known for being strong, lightweight, and resistant to cracking, making it ideal for everyday carry knives that also look great in a display case or collection.

Available patterns include the Baby Doc, Peanut, Sowbelly, Mini Copperlock, Medium Texas Toothpick, Mini Trapper, and Trapper. All knives are equipped with Case’s Tru-Sharp surgical steel blades, which offer solid edge retention and a corrosion-resistant finish. This series appeals to collectors who want bold style without compromising on function. The Pacific Tides line stands out from more traditional bone and wood offerings, giving a vibrant, modern twist to classic patterns. Made in the USA, these knives are perfect for those who want a splash of color in their pocket, without sacrificing the performance that Case is known for.

Coming Later This Year

Case XX Sod Buster Jr XR Crossroads
(Denim Canvas Laminate)

A folding knife in front of a sunset and farmhouse background.

The Case XX Sod Buster Jr XR Crossroads is already known for bringing modern features to a traditional working knife, but this new variation, previewed at Blade Show 2025, introduces fresh handle materials that set it apart. The 2.8" S35VN stainless steel blade remains the star of the show, offering excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and a stonewashed finish that stands up to daily use. With its ambidextrous one-hand opening and secure XR lock, the knife blends classic form with modern convenience, all while staying true to the hard-use spirit of the original Sod Buster.

What’s new for 2025 is the Blue Denim Canvas Laminate handle paired with a crisp White G-10 liner. These materials offer a clean contrast and durable feel, making this version both visually striking and built to last. The XX logo is subtly milled into the canvas scale, and black hardware gives the knife a more contemporary finish. Compact at 3.63" closed and just 2.1 ounces, it disappears in the pocket until it’s called to work. Built in the USA and offered in limited numbers, this new Crossroads variant continues Case’s push into modern EDC while respecting its roots.
