New Fixed Blades at Blade Show Texas 2026
Published: April 13th, 2026
Blade Show Texas continues to carve out its place as one of the most interesting stages for new releases, and this year’s fixed blades show exactly why. There’s a clear shift toward practical designs that everyday people will actually carry and use, with makers focusing on refining size, improving materials, and dialing in performance rather than chasing extremes. A lot of what stood out this year builds on familiar ideas, reworked into more compact, capable tools that fit better into everyday life. From small, pocket-friendly fixed blades to larger field-ready designs, we’ll explore a lineup built around practical design and real-world performance.
L.T. Wright Knives/Woods Monkey
Lil Widdle Chete
Version Shown: Brown Bone
The L.T. Wright Woods Monkey Lil Widdle Chete is a compact fixed blade built as a scaled-down version of the original Half/Chete design, carrying the same profile in a much smaller package. It features a 2.65-inch AEB-L stainless steel blade with a convex grind, giving it efficient slicing performance with enough geometry to handle light chopping and general camp work. The overall shape has a slight forward bias, allowing it to work beyond what its size suggests. The handle will be available in many different materials and secured by brass pins, keeping the construction simple and traditional while providing a comfortable grip. At 5 inches overall and weighing in at just 1.1oz, it is easy to carry in a pocket, pack, or small kit. Each knife includes a leather or firehose sheath. Proudly made in the USA.

It features a 4-inch AEB-L stainless steel blade with a convex grind, giving it strong slicing performance with the ability to handle light chopping and general camp work. The shape is forward-biased, helping it deliver more cutting power than its size would suggest. The handle is fitted with brown bone scales secured by brass pins, keeping the construction simple and traditional while providing a comfortable grip. At 7 inches overall and weighing 2.4 ounces, it remains easy to carry on a belt or in a pack. Each knife includes a brown leather hip sheath. Proudly made in the USA.
