    My 2nd Microtech Ultratech

    I previously bought from a local dealer, a Microtech Ultratech D/E with Orange scales and Apocalyptic blade finish. It was my 1st Microtech and I was really pleased with it. However, I've always been interested in the Microsoft Ultratech Spartans. Well I found a few on the SMKW site, but the only color available was Violet. Regardless, I went ahead and ordered it. When I received it a couple of days after it was shipped and unboxed it, I was very pleased with it.

    The violet scales are nice and the blade finish and grinds are excellent. The action on it was a lot smoother, snappier and more reliable than the locally purchased one, which would misfire, but not often.

    The Ultratech, Microtech's flagship out-the-front automatic, raised the standard for OTF knives with its proprietary technology and legendary American-made craftsmanship. This Microtech Ultratech Spartan Stonewash D/E Violet has a 3.35" premium steel Spartan-style dagger with a stonewash finish. It's an out-the-front automatic with a thumb slide open and lock. The handles are anodized violet 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with an ambidextrous stainless steel pocket clip and a glass breaker. It's 5.01" closed and weighs 3.5oz. Proudly made in the USA.
