    OVERVIEW

    Opinel knives are unique in its folding design and the No.09 Oyster Knife was designed to safely stow away and easily carry. With a short, stout blade its unique design centers the knife’s axis to make it easy for oyster opening. It has a Virobloc  locking ring that will stay closed when you want it to and it also will stay locked when needed.

    Opinel is known for its sharp blades but his knife features a blunted blade with a sharp tip for oyster shucking. The handle is made of Padouk wood that is resistant to swelling and for its ability to hold up well in humid or wet environments. This knife is hand wash only and the blade must be dry before closing.
