The CRKT Redemption is now available in an all-black finish, offering a darker take on one of Ken Onion’s most striking designs. This version features a black Cerakote blade, black G-10 handle scales, and a black stainless steel bolster for a uniform, low-profile look. The Redemption itself is based on Onion’s custom Deadman’s Hand, a knife inspired by the weapons carried by outlaws and poker players of the Old West. Its name is a reference to the aces-and-eights hand Wild Bill Hickok was said to be holding when he was killed.

With an overall length of 9.19 inches and a 4.06-inch blade made from CPM-MagnaCut, the Redemption is built for cutting performance and long-term durability. The crossbar lock provides solid, ambidextrous operation and secure blade lockup. At 4.9 ounces, the knife has enough heft for serious tasks while remaining easy to carry. The Redemption Compact brings the same bold styling and inspiration as Ken Onion’s full-size Redemption, now in a more carry-friendly size. Based on Onion’s custom Deadman’s Hand design, the Compact model retains the Old West character and practical functionality in a scaled-down frame. It’s available in two configurations: a blacked-out version with a black Cerakote blade and black bolster, or a silver version with a stonewashed blade and silver bolster. Both feature black G-10 handle scales for grip and durability.

The Tango is the debut model in Jack Wolf Knives’ new J.W. Kollab series, designed in collaboration with Chris Ortiz of Cerberus Knives.
